We support the latest generation in hardware, software, and systems technology to drive innovation and leadership in the payments industry. Monthly releases of production code enable us to quickly respond to both opportunities and changing market conditions.
From card acceptance to value-added and consultative services, we have our customers covered.
Vantiv serves more than 800,000 merchant locations, and counts 10 of the top 25 national retailers as our clients.
A publicly-traded, NYSE-listed company (VNTV) with more than 3,300 employees, Vantiv had net revenue of $1.68 billion in 2015, and is the second-largest merchant acquirer and the largest PIN debit acquirer based on number of transactions in the U.S.
3dcart and Vantiv have an exciting program that significantly streamlines the application process involved with establishing a merchant account. This initiative is specifically designed to help merchants like you quickly and simply accelerate the application for payments processing via this easy-to-use portal.
In addition to efficient core payments processing – including traditional card processing, international, and alternative payment options – along with best-in-class support, the following value-added solutions are available through our 3dcart direct integration.
When you accept online payments, you also accept the risks of exposure to sensitive account information. Tokenization lets you remove this information – including card numbers or eCheck account numbers – from your systems, in transit among systems, and in use by your employees, thereby helping reduce the liability you face when accepting digital payments.
No matter your business model, declined authorizations can threaten your profitability and decrease customer lifetime value. As one of the Vantiv Recovery solutions, Account Updating lets you bill using the original account information you obtained from the cardholder. Our fully managed service then automatically checks with Visa®, MasterCard®, and Discover® and applies account changes seamlessly.
Vantiv Insights can help you facilitate positive, reliable, and revenue-generating outcomes byscrutinizing each payment transaction and returning valuable customer data. Uncovering and understanding this customer information can help you build a stronger foundation for business decisions focused on maximizing revenue and minimizing payments breakage. Specific Vantiv Insights indicators for 3dcart include Affluence, Consumer/Commercial, Country Code, and Prepaid.
Accepting alternative payment methods is a powerful way to broaden your client base, help lift revenue, increase customer satisfaction, and reduce your payment processing costs. In fact, for many customers, alternative payment options are more than just familiar; they are the preferred method of payment. Consumer usage of popular alternative payment brands like eCheck continues to grow year over year.
Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Card Processing
Level 1 card processing refers to business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions in which consumers use their personal credit cards to make purchases that require very limited data, with typically just the provider of the service’s name, transaction amount, and date needed.
Level 2 and Level 3 card processing, however, refers to a more detailed transaction designed to support business-to-business (B2B) payment processing that involves different requirements needed for verification and authorization. Due to the completeness of Level 2 and Level 3 processing, data risk of the transaction is much lower thereby allowing a merchant to qualify for lower interchange rates.
