MyVolusion is a central dashboard for Volusion store owners to manage their accounts, not for management of your Volusion online store itself, but for handling all the details of your business's relationship with Volusion including your billing information and history, support tickets, and more. Product creation, order management, and other eCommerce tasks are handled in the Admin Area, while general account management is found within MyVolusion.
If your business has multiple employees, it's also possible to give them access to your business's MyVolusion account to enable them to manage certain responsibilities, like working with the Volusion support team to solve issues on your website. This makes MyVolusion your main online point of contact with Volusion.
Since MyVolusion is meant to be the account management interface for a business, it needs to be set up by the primary account holder, who is usually the owner of the online store. If you're the store owner, you can log into MyVolusion right away by visiting my.volusion.com and entering the Volusion credentials you specified when you created your account. These will be the email and password you used when you initially signed up for your trial or paid for your hosting plan.

This section allows you to see a list of all Volusion charges made to your payment method, 3 months at a time. You can browse through your invoices to see all the plan and usage details in an itemized format. Scroll through your payment history with the "Prev" and "Next" buttons.
This section displays your current billing cycle and the different fees you may be paying as part of your monthly plan. If you have multiple hosting plans with Volusion, you can switch your view between them by using the "Choose Order" menu. You can do several things in this section, including adding email accounts, increasing your newsletter limit, upgrading your Volusion plan, or adding or upgrading Fraud Score.
This section is where you control the payment method you use for your Volusion account. It's important to have a good understanding of how these options work, in order to avoid billing mishaps. All payment methods you've added to your account are displayed here, and you can add a new one by clicking "Register." The new payment method you added will automatically be saved for future use, so if you don't want this payment method to be billed again, deselect "Remember this payment method." You must also be aware that if you have multiple Volusion websites, the same payment method will be used for all of them. You can prevent this by deselecting "Apply this payment method change to ALL my existing orders," but this will also stop the payment method from being used for any of your orders. To set up specific payment methods for different Volusion stores, you need to contact them.
This is the section where the primary store owner can set up user accounts to allow their staff, if any, to access MyVolusion to submit support tickets related to their own roles on the online store. To add a user, you must first select the correct hosting plan from "Choose a Domain" (if you have more than one) and then fill out the form with the staff member's name and email address. The user will then receive an invitation. Of course, if you need to, you can also edit and remove users.
This section centers on your communications with the Volusion support staff via their ticketing system or your email address on record in the "My Account" section.
This section allows you to create a support ticket to receive customer service from the Volusion staff. Once your ticket has been submitted, it will be viewable in the next section.
Here, you will find a complete record of your ticket history with Volusion, with the most recent first. If you have a large number of tickets, this section with paginate with navigation links available at the top of the page. You can also search for your tickets by keyword or ID number, and sort them by status. Clicking the ID number of a ticket will open it for your perusal. Note that you'll only see your own tickets in this section, as your staff (if any) have separate ticket records.
While most of your Volusion store's management options are in your Admin Area, this section of MyVolusion is home to other options that don't have a place there.
This section lists your Volusion stores with links to manage their individual Admin Areas. It's a quick shortcut for getting from MyVolusion into your general eCommerce management.
This section is for creating and managing your Volusion email accounts, i.e. the personalized, professional email addresses using your store's domain name. You can add or delete email addresses as needed.
DNS is Domain Name System, which determines which domain name leads to which website. It's basically the system responsible for connecting your store's domain name to the web space on which your store resides. This section allows you to manage the DNS records of all your Volusion stores, so you can "activate" your domain names or change your store to a new domain.
This section allows you to view statistics for each of your Volusion stores, using SmarterStats, a detailed statistics app that provides filterable data about your site traffic and activity, bandwidth usage, search engine referring links, and more. The type of reporting you can view with SmarterStats will enable you to identify strengths in your SEO strategy as well as potential weaknesses that you can improve.
