Some manufacturers specify the minimum advertised price (MAP) for their products, this is the lowest price that the product can be advertised to customers. When your prices are below the MAP price, you are not allowed to display it on the website. 3dcart’s MAP feature allows you to set up a custom display text instead of the product price, so the item will show as “Too Low to Advertise” or “Add to Cart to view Price.” Once the customer clicks on the ‘Add to Cart button,’ the price will display in the shopping cart.
